Okay, one can hardly brag about a third place finish, especially when the second brew entry was noted by one of the judges as "similar to the aroma of a skunk" but I am happy about my Scottish Ale (made up recipe). For my trouble I've got a nice white ribbon, two sets of red Mardi Gras beads with crab amulets, one packet of Nottingham Brewers Yeast and one ounce of Cascade Hops. The best prize though were the very smart and helpful comments on my brews by the judges. All you guys need to lay back a couple of your brews (in 12 oz. brown bottles of course) for the Peach State Brew Off in February.
