December meeting

I've been nudged by Beerkan (sounds vaguely like Borat) that we should go ahead and set a meeting date. I think it's a good idea. December 16th, 1pm at Ken and Jack's place was suggested. Sounds like we could have twice the attendance as the last meeting. Everyone should definitely bring their brewing friends. We all want to taste Will's mead. Everyone else, of course, bring your latest batch. What do you think? Does this date work for everyone? Post your comments. And remember, we've (actually just Will) already accomplished our goal from our first meeting, i.e. get a message board up and get everyone posting comments on it. Our illustrious congressman, Jim Marshall drank one my Black Jack II stouts last weekend and had a very mellow evening. I suggested he might want to join us at our next meeting but Jack nixed that. Too much like inviting revenuers to the still.

Do you mean Dec. 13th? at 1 pm?  The 16th is a Tuesday and I am not one of those professors with the whole month off.  As for hizoner Jim Martial, last time we got drunk at a party together we ended up yelling at each other.  But then again, we weren't drinking Will's magic mead or Beerkan's auspicious ale. And, what if there is Washington grant money for homebrew clubs????

I get along with Marshall pretty well but I don't think he'd mellow into the mood. And, just what we need ANOTHER college professor. Yikes!  smile
